The Practice

I provide a full range of services for children with speech and language disorders. Here's what sets my approach apart.

Extensive Public School Experience

Drawing on 15+ years in public education, largely within NYC schools, I bring a strong understanding of curriculum standards and how to align therapy with real classroom outcomes.

Curriculum-Aligned & Standards-Based

I align therapy with academic standards to build the language and executive functioning skills that drive meaningful classroom progress.

Caregiver Training

I emphasize a holistic approach to incorporate parents, teachers and caregivers into the speech education process. I plan for regular phone calls and progress reports to make sure you feel at ease with the therapy process.

In-Person or Virtual

I offer in-person sessions in Northern Westchester and surrounding areas, or virtual interactive sessions based on your schedule and availability.

Services
Speech and Language Evaluation

All clients begin with a comprehensive evaluation that may include case history review, parent interview, standardized and/or informal assessment measures, and analysis of strengths, needs, and compensatory strategies.

Evaluations also include collaboration with relevant teachers, healthcare providers, and support specialists as needed, along with a detailed written report outlining findings and individualized recommendations for next steps.

Speech and Language Therapy

In-person or virtual therapy sessions are offered in 30-, 45-, or 60-minute increments. Frequency and duration are determined based on each client’s individual needs. Caregivers and clients are actively involved in goal-setting and scheduling to ensure therapy is collaborative, meaningful, and sustainable.

Academic and Executive Functioning Support

Targeted support for middle and high school students who struggle with planning, organization, written expression, social cognition, and managing increasing academic demands.

Services may include:

  • Task initiation and completion strategies

  • Planning long-term projects and breaking down assignments

  • Time management and workload organization

  • Written language support (structure, clarity, academic vocabulary)

  • Perspective taking and social problem-solving

  • Self-advocacy skills

Sessions are individualized and aligned with classroom expectations to support real-world academic performance and long-term independence.
